As local technical representative of Smiths Detection, we are constantly training our technicians on the use and service of Smiths equipment, both locally and internationally.
Local law enforcement acquired 3 full body X-ray scanners for use in 2 different correctional facilities on entrance check-points.
Our company was in charge of installation of these scanners, and training the LEO (law enforcing officers) to operate them.
After installation, preventive maintenance was performed on a trimestral frequency, according to manufacturer schedule.
Corrective repairs were also needed, owing to the extremely high volume of transit through the check points. Over 2500 people go through these check-points daily.
These units have been in constant service for almost 10 years, with minimal downtime.
